NE 04 – The Carnivore

Lunch or dinner at Nairobi’s Carnivore restaurant, famous for its succulent
steaks, barbecue dishes and game meats.
NE 05 – Rift Valley Lakes
Daily – 08:00 am – full day
Drive from Nairobi over the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley, down past
Lakes Naivasha and Elementaita and on to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch.
Afternoon game drive in the park, which is a sanctuary to millions of flamingo's,
black rhino and other rare species of game. Return to Nairobi just before dusk. |

01 – Mombasa Island Tour
Daily – 07:30 am – half day
Visit the old town and dhow park, Akamba wood carvers, Mackinnon
market, Temple and Fort Jesus.
ME 02 – Tamarind Dhow
Dinner Cruise
Mon. & Sat. – 6:00 pm (except April & May)
Sail by Arab dhow beneath Fort Jesus in the evening light
while sipping cocktails as the sunsets. Eat a seafood or
steak dinner before the band picks up its tempo and dance
under the tropical sky.
ME 03 – Malindi and
Gedi Ruins
Daily – 07:30 am – full day
Drive north to Gedi and visit the best-preserved remains
of an Arab town on the coast. Continue to Malindi and visit
Marine Park in glass-bottomed boats before lunch at a local
restaurant followed by a visit to the snake farm, falconry
and local village to watch Giriama dancers.
ME 04 – Wasini & Kisite
Dhow South Coast
Daily – 06:00 am – full day
Board a traditional dhow from the South Coast and sail
to Kisite Marine National Park to snorkel in the coral
gardens
and view beautiful sea life by glass-bottomed boat. Return
under full sail to an isolated restaurant for a magnificent
seafood lunch. Then visit the coral gardens or laze in
the restaurant gardens by the sea’s edge.
ME 05 – Tsavo East National
Reserve
Daily – 05:00 am – full day
Depart early to visit Kenya’s largest game park famed
for its lions and elephants. Visit Aruba Dam, a watering
hole popular with game. Lunch at a lodge, followed by another
game drive and a late afternoon return to Mombasa. |
