Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival at JKIA, you are met by a Nature Expeditions representative for transfer to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel and shown to your rooms. Dinner on own account and overnight at

Day 2: Nairobi / Tsavo West
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, depart with the Nature Expeditions driver/guide for the second largest park – Tsavo West, famed for the notorious “Man Eaters of Tsavo”. The man eating lions preyed on the railway linesmen building the great Uganda Railway. The park offers remarkable views with a variety of habitats ranging from mountains, river forest, lakes and wooded grassland. Its plains border with the Southern Serengeti plains in Tanzania. Day 3: Tsavo West
Spend a further day in this park that features the Shetani & Chaimu Lava Flows, excellent bird watching with over 600 species. Apart from the elephant population there are many lions – some undoubtedly the descendants of the famous Man-eaters of Tsavo! Among the less common animals to be found are the fringed-eared Oryx, the gerenuk and lesser kudu. The carnivores in addition to lion include serval, hyena, leopard cheetah and caracal. Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, established to protect the highly poached Rhino which was close to extinction. Mzima Springs is yet another feature whose source is the Chyulu Hills. There is an observation platform and an underwater glass tank which provides a special vantage point to view this remarkable oasis. All meals and overnight at Voyager Ziwani Camp (full board).

Day 4: Tsavo West / Sweetwaters
After early breakfast morning drive to Nairobi where you stop for lunch. Proceed through rich farmlands of the kikuyu tribe who grow coffee among other crops, enjoy the scenery as you explore the great rift valley on your drive to arrive at Sweetwaters Luxury Tented Camp for lunch. After lunch, leave for a game drive in the late afternoon. The Reserve is nestled between Mt. Kenya to the east and the Aberdares Mountains to the west, and is privately owned. Day 5: Sweetwaters
The reserve boasts a plethora of wildlife - over 400 species of birds, lion, elephant, rhino and cheetah among others. In the Reserve is a 200-acre Chimpanzee sanctuary which was set up at the Reserve for rehabilitation especially of the orphaned and abused chimps. Extra activities include; camel / horse riding, night game drives, bush meals etc, all are payable directly at the Camp. All meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp (full board).

Day 6: Sweetwaters / Lake Nakuru / Lake Naivasha
This morning drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a protected game sanctuary for endangered species such as the Black/ White rhino, Rothschild Giraffe among other usual game such as the leopard and Lion. The park is world-renowned for its millions of pink Flamingoes found around the lake. Picnic lunch in the Park followed by a short game  drive. Depart at 17H00 for Lake Naivasha, the first of the Rift Valley Lakes and is set at the foot of Mount Longonot, on the north side. Day 7: Lake Naivasha / Maasai Mara
Travel to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, so named to mean the “spotted plains” in Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The Reserve is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest. This is a spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. Day 8 & 9: Maasai Mara
During your stay, you have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth. You may see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topi, grants and Thomson's gazelle. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. The Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses. While in Mara, you will have the option to float above the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem on board a hot air balloon followed by a gourmet champagne breakfast. You can also visit a Maasai tribal village and enjoy entertainment by Maasai dancers (Options at an extra cost). All meals and overnight at Nyumbu Camp (full board).

Day 10: Maasai Mara / Nairobi / Depart
After breakfast morning drive back to Nairobi with a game drive en route. Arrive in time for lunch on own account and later transferred to JKIA for your onward flight home.
