Day 1 - Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a NATURE EXPEDITIONS representative who will transfer you to your Hotel. Dinner on own and overnight at JACARANDA HOTEL – www.jacarandahotels.com

Day 2 –Nairobi / Samburu

After breakfast, check out and drive to the north of the country - Samburu Game Reserve. On our way we pass through the lush hill country of the Kikuyu people. This area is known for its growing of Kenyan Arabica coffee beans. Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Lodge. Here you will meet the nomadic tribes of Samburu, Borana and Turkana who have lived in this land blessed with rich colors and a variety of landscapes.  Afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at SAMBURU LODGE (full board).

Day 3 –Samburu

Spend a further day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. All Meals included and overnight at SAMBURU LODGE (full board).

Day 4 –Samburu/Naivasha

After breakfast down the Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Naivasha Area to arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure or take part in activities offered upon request at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at NAIVASHA COUNTRY CLUB (full board)

Day 5 -Lake Naivasha

Spend the day at leisure or take part in excursions at an extra cost. All meals included and overnight at NAIVASHA COUNTRY CLUB

Day 6 –Lake Naivasha /Maasai Mara

After early breakfast, morning drive across the Rift Valley escarpment to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Keekorok Lodge. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at KEEKOROK LODGE (full board).

Day 7& 8– Maasai Mara

Spend a further two days in the Mara during which you will have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth.  During your morning and afternoon game drives, you will see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topi, grant's and Thomson's gazelle.  The Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses.  All meals included.  And overnights at KEEKOROK LODGE (full board).

Day 9– Maasai Mara/ Nairobi

After breakfast at the lodge, morning drive back to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at Ole Sereni Hotel. Later you will be transferred to the Airport for departure flight.

Optional Excursions while in Naivasha:

• Excursion by boat to Crescent Island for a full day bird viewing, roaming the predator-free sanctuary in search of the numerous ruminants plus picnic lunch @US$ 90 per person
• Half day excursion to Crescent Island @US$ 70 per person
• Full day game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch @ US $ 125 per person
